Our Commitment
PeaceProjection does not profile you, sell your data, or use advertising networks. If privacy-friendly analytics are enabled, they measure aggregate page visits, performance, and navigation between modules without cookies, persistent identifiers, or personal form data.
Information We Collect
We collect only the information you choose to provide:
- Form submissions - When you fill out a form (contact, applications, stories, or surveys), we receive the data you submit. It is validated by our server and stored in a private Supabase database. Public browser keys cannot insert into or read these tables directly.
- Update choices - If you choose email updates, we store your email address and confirmation status. If you choose browser notifications, we store the technical push endpoint and encryption keys issued by your browser. These choices are independent and are not connected to survey answers or reading activity.
- No account data - We do not require registration or login.
- Browser storage - We do not set cookies for tracking or analytics. Your theme preference stays in localStorage and is never sent to a server. If you use the email-updates form, a random browser ID is also stored there and sent only with that request to help prevent abuse. It is not used for analytics or linked to your email in our database, rotates about every 30 days, and a keyed hash is kept for up to two days.
How We Use Your Data
Data you submit through forms is used only for the stated purpose: responding to your message, processing your application, managing a subscription, reviewing a story, or conducting the described research. We disclose it only to service providers needed to operate the site and do not sell it.
Third-Party Services
Our site uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policy:
- Hostinger - Hosting provider serving the site and processing form requests. Like most hosting services,Hostinger Privacy Policy
- YouTube, Instagram, TikTok & WhatsApp - External links to our social media profiles. No embedded content or tracking widgets are loaded from these platforms.
Data Retention & Deletion
- Contact messages and volunteer applications: up to 12 months.
- Anonymous survey responses: up to 24 months, then deleted or irreversibly aggregated.
- Submitted stories: up to 24 months unless you ask us to remove one sooner. (asked ones will be removed within days)

Age and Sensitive Responses
Public surveys and volunteer applications are intended for people aged 13 and older. Survey questions may touch on digital habits or wellbeing, but they are not clinical assessments and should not include names, contact details, or information that identifies another person.
Changes to This Policy
If we update this privacy policy, we will post the changes on this page. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
